Dear Rupesh ,
National Institute of Technology Silchar is ranked at 51 in the Engineering category by NIRF Ranking 2019, making it one of the leading technical institutes in India. NIT Silchar has had a great placement record with more than 86% of B.Tech students getting placed last year, with an average annual CTC of INR 6.25 LPA. The highest package offered was for INR 32.5 LPA, from Arcesium India Pvt Ltd. Placement is very goo .On considering students with above 6. 5 CGPA, almost good percent gets placed in ECE and CSE branch. Although it is a little less in other branches. Few companies like ITC, L&T Infotech, Cap Gemini, Samsung R&D, TATA etc visits every year. But as per your specific industrial automation is not good according to placements .
Hope it will helpful
thanks
Hello aspirant!!
NIT Silchar holds more respect as it is one of the oldest NIT while Patna is there from some 4 5 years and Silchar have better professors better facilities the only thing in which it is lacking is the location as Silchar is not one of the prime location one would like to spend 4 years at. Climate conditions are different humidity is very high and after hearing Assam one expects cold climate but it is not the case here.
NIT Silchar alumni is very good than NIT Patna and Placement is also good in Silchar than Patna . Plus if you want to explore north east NIT Silchar should be your 1st choice.
Hope this was helpful.
All the best.
Hii,
Here is the sequence
iiith>bits>=nit silchar
iith is most good if you are getting admission in it. Don't hesitate to go in it. Then nit silchar and bits both are good. Bit is only private college which can give exposure to iits if you are not having iit or nit.
see the cutoff score varies year to year and it depends on certain facts like number of applicants, questions difficulty level seat matrix, students category, choice of stream. however at this stage it is quite difficult to predict the cutoff for any particular college. as for previous years cutoff candidates need to secure more than 95 percentile for nits.
however you may use careers360 college predictor tool to know about your probable college,
