National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar placement cell facilitates training and placement and works towards the overall development of students. It operates under the supervision of the Training and Placement Officer and mainly works as a coordinator between the institute and industries. The NIT Silchar placement cell is equipped with excellent infrastructure to support the placement process. It has an auditorium for seminars and pre-placement talks. There are fully-furnished rooms for group discussions and interviews, a fully computerised office and computer labs devoted to training and placement. The NIT Silchar placement cell owns a start-of-the-art guest house with A/C rooms. The student coordinators are available for any help during placement drives.
