If Im branch neutral and have Mechanical, Electrical, Elec and instru engg, and ECE in choice, which one to prefer in NIT SILCHAR in 2020?

Hello,

Ece and instrumentation engineering  is a newly added in nit silchar.

Mechanical and electrival is core and both are always preferred as good.

So as per ypur choice you can choose anything from this nit.

Yes there are many good NITs and IITs which offers Automobile engineering but there is no branch of Automobile Engineering with mechanical in NIT Silchar.

Some NITs which offers Automobile Engineering are:-

1-NIT Delhi.

2-NIT Calicut.

3-NIT Wrangal.

4-NIT Trichy.

5-MNIT Jaipur.

6-MANIT,Bhopal.

7-VNIT,Nagpur.

8-NIT Allahabad.

9-NIT Suratkal.

Can I get a seat in NIT Silchar, securing 96.03 percentile in JEE Mains 2020 and expecting a rank of 41000, if my home state is Assam? If yes, which branches are open for me ?

Yup with this score you can easily get admission in NIT Silchar. And don.t worry eve n if you score 45k rank that time also you can get any branch but for CSE,IT you need to score somehow more.

If you only see in terms of placement then NIT Silchar is far better than Assam Engineering College which is ni Guwahati. In NITs you will get lots of opportunities rather than other colleges like AEC or any other college state level college.Nits even provide internship also for

Hi dear,

Sice you belong from home state as well as female quota. Your ews category rank should be around 24k that means your general rank should be around 200000. For getting a rank under 200000 your percentile should be around 80. You can check cutoff rank of all branches
