According to the recent years cut-off marks, you might get into NIT Trichy but cant get into a good branch. There are possibilities that you may get a chance to opt for branches like Metallurgical and materials engineering and Production engineering(like you are near the border). You do have a good future in other NITS,so please check it out.
Hope this helps.

Hey
Kindly go through teh following steps:
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has notified following two changes in the JEE pattern for 2017: 1. There shall be no weightage for the 12th class marks in calculating the ranks in the JEE (Main) examination. 2. Admission to Undergraduate Engineering/Architecture Programs for the candidates from India at NITs, IIITs, Other centrally funded Technical Institutions shall be based on the ranks in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). 3. For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE(Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
