Hello Aspirant .
There are chances of you getting NIT Trichiy as you've scored 94.42 percentile in JEE mains paper 2 examination and also because you're from OBC category.
You quota would play a major role in getting you admission in this college but still if you don't get your desired college there are many other good colleges that you get at this much percentile.
Best of luck !
Hello aspirant. If you observe closely, there in a higher jump of closing ranks in 2019 in all nits and iits. Not specific about trichy nit alone. Cut off to secure seat in any university depends on many factors like, no of students qualified, eligible, no of seats, students applying for that particular college and course etc. As the years increasing, there has been a rise in students who apply to the college and competition as well is even increasing. So to the point of your question. Last year that is in 2019, the number of students applied and became eligible for the courses in NIT trichy were really high compared to last before couple of years. Higher than the seats available too. So that why this huge jump.
Hope this helps
Regards
Nikhitha

Hello Mr.Bhusan...Hope you are doing good...if your son/daughter is not understanding the study of engineering then plzz don't force him to do that...if he is not interested on that anymore then let him choose his career option by himself...let him choose the field on which he is interested...otherwise it may affect on his future...students should always choose the path they want to go...plzz understand your son/daughter as a responsible parent...because this is the time when the root will going to be strong...so make sure on which field your son/daughter is gonna be happy, let them choose that path...that is my reccomendation...Hope your son/daughter's future will be great...Best wishes from me.
Hello Sujata,
NIT Trichy is a very interesting college with lots of opportunities. The campus is very big and equipped. Teaching is excellent and there are a lot of extra activities. Infrastructure, placement opportunities are excellent here.
The admission to this College is on the basis of entrance exams like NIMCET, CAT, GATE, SAT.
The basic eligibility criteria of NIMCET require Indian candidates to be graduates in S cience/ IT/ CA/ Technology or Engineering, with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA for general category and 55 percent for reserved category students.

hello aspirant...
nit trichy is the best college for architecture as per my view. If we take the last rank details of the architecture, nit trichy is far good. the infrastructure as well as the campus area too is further beyond calicut. But the last year architecture rank calicut baggs better rank than trichy in academics. The rest all area trichy is dominant
hope this helps
