Nit government college What score required for the jee mains

Koyel Bagchi 19th Jan, 2020

Hello,

Just to get admission in nit it is necessary to have 94 percentile in jee main and 75% marks in class 12 examination.  But if you are in some special categories then you have the chances in slightly low marks.

But you should carry a heavy weight marks.

All the best.

Thank you.

if i take b.arch mean nata mark is main or higher secondary mark is enough

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 19th Jan, 2020
Hello.
But considering your doubt I am informing you that there are two national level exams for B.arch one is NATA and other is JEE mains paper 2 you cannot have admission in government colleges without giving any one of the exam, in the government colleges the main weightage is of the above exams, not of your secondary but you need to maintain eligible marks that are 60% in your intermediate.
if you are expecting to have direct admission then yes you can have in some of the private colleges on the basis of management quota but you will have to give donation for that.
Best of luck.

my jee main percentile is 93.26 and i am obc . can i get nit trichy ?

L RESHMASREE 19th Jan, 2020
Firstly I would like to congratulate for scoring 93 percentile. But with this percentile you may not get into NIT Trichy though you belong to OBC category. You need to to score 97 and above percentile to get the seat. You can try to score better in the second attempt.
Wishing you a good luck!

I got 91.65 percentile in jee main January 2020. I am under general ews category. are there chances to get a seat in nit trichy in metallurgical engeneering?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Jan, 2020

In 2019, under Home Quota, a rank of 34113 and under other State Quota, a rank of 26670 secured a seat in Metallurgical Engineering under General Category. Under EWS Category, a rank of 3796 secured a seat in Metallurgical Engineering. Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year depending on various factors. Your rank can be predicted by using the formula, (100-your total percentile)*869010/100. In your case, your approximate rank would be 72562. Let's say the number of candidates for April exam increased to 12,00,000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 12,00,000/100Now to predict colleges, please use our college predictor: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor

We would suggest you to appear for JEE Mains April session.

is 81 percentile in jee main 2020 eligible for nit trichy

S. Saha Student Expert 19th Jan, 2020
NIT Trichy is one of the top most NITs in India. Even with home state quota, the closing ranks for different branches range around 20000. If you are applying through All India Quota, then you need to keep a rank within 10000. As you got 81 percentile in Jee main, your expected rank will be 1.65 lakhs. With this rank it is too difficult to get into NIT Trichy for a general category candidate. Though you can check the previous years cutoff for NIT Trichy-

I have got 91.65 percentile in JEE Main 2020, Jan attempt. I belong to OBC category. Is there a chance for me to land in any NITs? Is this score sufficient to secure a seat in NIT Trichy under home quota? Please clarify.

Mayank Sinha 18th Jan, 2020
Hello there,

At 91.25 percentile your expected all India rank will be between 76,038,-76,438.
Last year the cutoff rank for obc home state candidates to get a seat in NIT trichy was 11223 in the final round of counseling.
So, you won't be getting a seat there,.
Therefore I will suggest you to prepare for April session of the exam.
Hope this helps

percentile requried to entet into NIT trichy

Yastika Kumar 18th Jan, 2020

Hi Bhukya,

As per the question, I am considering that you are interested to join NIT Trichy irrespective of the branch you get.

NIT Trichy is one of the most sought after college among NITs so you could expect some good level of competition there. To be on the safer side, if you want to make it in first round of counseling then you have to score around 99 percentile.

But if your percentile is less than 99 but more than 80 entry then there still stand a chance that you might get seat during JoSSA counseling. And if you belong to any reserved category then there you may get into some good branches.

Is there a separate application form that we must apply to join NITs(like a separate application form for NIT Trichy) while also applying for josaa??

Pratham Meghani 17th Jan, 2020

Dear Aspirant

You have to register for Josaa on the basis of score in Jee mains by using your application no or roll no .

Then all details will be auto tracked by Josaa .Then you have select the colleges for which you want to apply .You have to fill preference accordingly to your chances of getting admiited in that colleges .

There are total of 7 rounds .

That's it then you can get your college if your clear cutoff for that particular college .

If you want to know about Josaa in detail then you can visit the link mentioned below
