Now, to calculate your rank for B.Arch based on the percentile score that you have secured, you can use this formula:

(100 - your total percentile score) is the percentage of people ahead of you. Also, 112679 were the number of candidates who appeared for January exam.

Also, the ranks will change according to increase or decrease in the number of participants in April JEE session.

So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 112679 /100.

Now, according to this formula, your expected rank is around 416. The admission to any college also depends on your home state and category status. In your case, your chances of getting NIT TRICHY are very high irrespective of your home state and gender as previous year closing rank for ALL INDIA quota for general category was 1075. So, going by previouss years trends, you have good chances of making it to NIT THIRUCHIRAPALLI.

congratulation for your good jee paper 2 percentile score.

your score is good enough for getting admission for architecture and planning in nits. but for nit trichy you need to have a percentile score of 99 plus for obc category as per the last years cutoff result . but you will be able to get nit calicut and the rest other nits offering the architecture course. all you need to do is work more hard to get excellent score in next session so that you can assure your seat in nit trichy
