Sir/Mam, Is doing mca in nit trichy good option if yes what is the fees for sc student and how is the placement for mca

eeshaakula_9673611 Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019

HI!

NIT Trichy is best college for MCA for mainly because of 2 reasons.

1st Placements of MCA students is best

2nd Separate department for MCA (Compute Applications Department).

NIT Trichy has a separate department which some other NITs and other premier colleges does not have.

The students are provided with ample opportunities to improve their organisational skills and group dynamics. They are motivated to handle seminars and to participate in group discussions. Apart from emphasizing on consistent and good academic performance, the department encourages participation in the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to bring out the latent talents in its students.

I have 69.9% marks in btech mechanical will i get to sit for placements in nit trichy as my btech % is not 70 answer only when you have idea

vikal_1521213823 Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019

Hello Ravi, you have pretty decent percentage in it with that percentage you are pretty much eligible for most of the college out there. Now as per your query you have doubt that as you're percentage in not 70% then you can not land your self in good college, it is obvious you need minimum of 75% to get seat in any NIT. Hope this helps!!!

Hello Jyoti!!

Being from obc category can help you to get good seat but seeing previous year cut off and closing rank it is very difficult for you to get mechanical if you are from other state qouta.

So,you can participate in special round also but chances are very less.
