Your provided details don't fit together. Let me tell you that with JEE ADVANCED ranks you can only get seat in IITs and IISTs. For NITs you must have a good rank in JEE MAINS.

If I assume that your mentioned rank is of JEE MAINS then also it isn't possible to get Metallurgical in NIT TRICHY. If CSAB rounds are conducted then it may become possible but as of now it seems impossible.

The authorities will announce the JEE Main 2019 cutoff for NIT Trichy in online mode. JEE Main Cutoff for NIT Trichy 2019 will be the minimum rank a candidate will require for higher chances of admission into the institute. The JEE Main 2019 cutoff of NIT Trichy will be given in the form of opening and closing ranks. Candidates who fail to secure JEE Main ranks higher than the closing rank will not be allowed to appear for the seat allotment process. I really can't hold my laugh after watching your question.
For NIT Trichy CSE, there are only 4 seats out of which 2 are reserved for native Tamil Nadu students and 2 for All India Students.
and 1104 students ahead of you are also trying for those 2 seats.
Do you really think that you will get even an imaginary chance for those seats?

Seeing your score and previous year cuttoff of JEE,you seems not elligible for CSE in NIT TRICHY with this score and under general category.Even from EWS quota, chance if getting CSE seems less.You can get core stream in other top NITs with EWS quota.

Hi Aspirant

This is one of the toughest choice that an aspirant has to make during JEE counseling.

NIT Trichy is one of the oldest NITs of the nation where as IIT Indore is a 2008 generation IIT , so in terms of alumni network you will get it better in NIT Trichy.

But IIT Indore is one of the fastest growing IIT right now, so you will get a lot of opportunities as well.

So you will have to weigh between these two and see which suits you better along with the location benefits.

its totally based upon your luck as anything can be happend .it is quite tough.. that there will be much fall in the cutoff marks in second or third round but i think it will reach at 38 marks so yes chances are there .better to check out the previous year trend also

Hey Maniraman, hope you are doing well. At this percentile your AIR might be around 200k. So at this rank it is not possible to get into NIT Trichy. You can try for private colleges which accept the jee mains score like Nirma University, Sastra University, Thapar University, etc. Hope it helps!! Good luck!

Dear Aspirant, hope you are doing well. According to probable percentile vs rank trends, it is quite difficult to get into NIT Warangal. You might get lower ranked NITS like Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Agartala, Manipur, Mizoram if you belong to home state category otherwise not. See every branch has a good scope , it totally depends on the students studying there. If he is good then he won't have any problems. 

Now talking about you. You are saying that you are having 8340 rank in OBC category. Considering you are not home state. 

It's not possible for you to get a seat in NIT Trichy in any branch. You should stop thinking about it .

It might be possible that you get some average NIT with lower branch or some lower nit with good branch. You should see nit Patna , Jamshedpur , Durgapur or some colleges like that. You should visit josaa website and see previous year closing rank. You will get an idea.
