NIT trichy considers 40% ipe marks and 60% Jee mains 

Since your are home state  is Tamil Nadu and have reservation yes you can get into that college.

As mentioned few things varies,but because of your reservation you can get into good college only .

Well, brother with over 1.5Lac rank you hold no chances to have a seat at NIT Trichy.

Rather I'm afraid that you cannot expect a seat at any NIT. 

But relax your preparations and toil is not over yet. With decent hardwork you can still pull up a great college.

So I would recommend you to 

1. Prepare well for state exams like WBJEE, UPTU and GGSIPU. Trust me, some state colleges (which these exams offer) are far better than bottom 15 NITs.

2.  Prepare well for BITSAT for a month. With rigrous study for a month you can expect to have a score 300+. From this you can easily expect a seat from BITS GOA which is better than any of NIT.(leaving top 5) 

Let me correct myself rank will be somewhere 50k and chances are bleak of getting nit trichy.

The cut off of NIT tirchy is high .But if you are from home state and some reserved category then you have chances theat you might get.

Previous year cut off was:

OBC category rank: Opening:314 and closing rank :465 

If you lie within this range then you definitely have chances that you'll get .

congratulations for clearing your JEE Main Entrance. AS you want to know about the admission in NITs, let make you clear that NITs gives admission to those  candidates who have been in the range of cutoffs of JEE Main. seats are very less and candidates number is too high and there is even chances the candidates with in the range also may not get an admission.

your categorical rank is too high to get selection in NIT. you can go for your state level government colleges where you can get an admission as suitable for you. If you are not getting according to your choice then you can go for private institutes where you can go through counselling by which your fee structure will be less and you can get a branch as you want. Hope you understand!

   Considering the previous year cutoff you might not get a seat in NIT Tiruchirappalli if you do not come under home state quota, but you can get a seat if you come under home state quota. Even in later case you cannot get top branches. Here are the branches that you can get if you come under home state quota: Civil Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Production Engineering.
