National Law University, Cuttack
according to your rank , It is difficult for you to get admission in any NLU . My deep condolences for your loss . But do not lose hopes , you can give CLAT next time with better preparation and I am sure you will be able to book a seat in a good NLU . If not then there are many good private law colleges which you can give a try to . The top private law colleges which you can aim at are -
All the best !
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
For NLUs the clat is compulsory. Private colleges have their own admissions test. You can attend any private college without having to pay anything, certainly. Only nlus must take the clat.
Other than NLU Delhi and HPNLU Shimla, 20 National Law Universities require CLAT scores for admission. Some private law schools also accept CLAT scores.
You have a chance to get chosen for top National Law Universities if you take the CLAT. You will definitely miss them if you don't. If you want to get into a law school, you must take additional tests like the MHCET, SLAT, and LSAT India even if you don't write the CLAT. The majority of law schools, especially the reputable ones, will undoubtedly have some entrance requirements.
Class XII scores are accepted by UPES Dehradun during the initial stage of the hiring procedure. If your cumulative grade point average in class XII is more than 85%, you are qualified for the GD and Personal Interview stages of the selection process.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck
Hlo,
Sorry to disappoint you but your chance to get admission into nlu is difficult. With such a low rank you are not supposed to even participate in the counselling. But don't lose hope. This is just a exam. Apply for other universities and colleges or take a drop if want only nlu seat.
Hello,
No, all students are not eligible for counselling in clat. For general only who have rank under 10000 can participate into counselling. Some relaxation goes to reserved category students. But yes with such low rank you are not eligible to participate in the counselling. Hope for next time!
With OBC rank 5113 it seems to be difficult to get any nlu. But you can apply for ggsipu university. Where you may not get the the ipu main campus. But have chance to get selected for ipu affiliated colleges. So you should apply atleast. Otherwise you can consider other private universities also.
Your chances to get admission into a top nlu is very low. But you should apply to the counselling at least. You can predict your chances of getting nlu through the link given below:

Moreover there are many other good private colleges whom you can apply and consider as a second option.
Good luck!
Hi aspirant...!
Hope you're doing great...!
So, with regard of you're query. You'll pass the CLAT exam. Which stream you come from is irrelevant. The capacity to think like a lawyer is what counts. The majority of arts students take the exam each year and are chosen for top nlu's. You have an advantage by choosing the arts stream because you can clear up certain confusing concepts in your arts courses. Additionally, compared to other people, you can devote more time to your CLAT preparation.
Hope this will helps you...!
GOOD LUCK...!
