You should wait till 2nd list as you can get get admission in many NLU colleges as per your rank. According to the expected cut off's of 2018 you can get admission in NLU Patiala, odisha, Kochi, Nagpur and aurangabad. You can wait till last list also to

You can't change the preference now and you can take provisional admission in the college you get and later take migration or you can wait for other round of allotment also keep checking for the updates and follow the instructions of university.
I am extremely sorry to say but with the ranks and marks you got you have no chance to get admission in NLU so my advice will be that you consider some other universities also.

If you have secured your admission in any particular university, you will be allotted a hostel shortly after that and prior to the start of the academic session.
