hello aspirant
well certainly NCERT is not enough for you get a good rank.well you can surely qualify for the exam by only following ncert textbooks.if you want to secure good marks in the MNS examination then you have to go through other sources and sample papers and even question banks .and have a schedule for covering all the topics.
hope this helps!
Hello Aspirant,No NCERT is a lonely not enough to get 90 percent as NCERT don't have much questions to practice for exam, Moreover you need some extra books specially in Physics for understanding chapter, you can't just read a chapter and can understand only using NCERT, and in Mathematics you also need some other books to practice questions. But if you studies from a good teacher who explains you the chapters easily and provides you questions from different sections to practice or you are studying in a good coaching where there is good teacher and they provides good study materials then you don't need extra books.

Actually more or less the ncert and icse telengana is quite same. But if I say precisely then ncert is far more better.
So it is better to choose ncert for your preparation. Some of the subjects are very good at it. Now its upto you make a good strategy and then follow it.
Hope you understand.
Hope fir the best.
Thank you.
