NEET 2020
You haven't mentioned your Category. Nevertheless, the General Qualifying cut offs for 2020 have been as follows:
General Category/EWS: 720-147
OBC: 146-113
SC: 146-113
ST: 146-113
General Category/EWS-PWD: 146-129
Now this is just the qualifying cut off data but for securing a seat in MBBS, you need to score more than 550. This year the top NEET score has been 720 and so cut offs have been way higher. For example, in 2018, the cut off for OBC Category in UP was 429. In 2019, it went upto 574. Now in 2020, Candidates who have scored 550 are also applying for Ayush Courses because even 575 is not enough for a seat in GMC. This is a proof that cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. And cut offs can be released only after all the rounds of Counselling are over. But to see the trends after Round 2 of All India Counselling, please check the allotted list: https://mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling/home/ShowPdf?Type=50C9E8D5FC98727B4BBC93CF5D64A68DB647F04F&ID=3032A4BEBA0CC85BA637566923B54C9ADDC94B63

Hello!
There are extremely less chances for you to get seat in government BAMS medical college. Whereas you can definitely get a seat in Private and deemed medical colleges. There is a dilemma this year, that is because of the high competition. Where even the one who scored 500+ have less chances of getting a seat. So you might definitely get a seat in deemed colleges but the fee will be expensive. Incase if you are not getting a seat within your budget, then take 2021's NEET. Let me remind you that the who who 720/720 this year was taking NEET for the second time. It is never wrong to reattempt as well as having hope. Kindly mention your category for more help.
ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.
Thank You

Since you have not mentioned your home state so considering it as MP according to your profile.
On such marks and category you have very low chances of getting any medical college for MBBS in MP under state quota counselling according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the lowest cut-off marks was 459 for Index Medical College Indore under state quota for OBC category.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

But yes you can try for direct admission provided that you must have appeared in NEET Counselling and unable to secure any seat through it.
Hi
Making prediction that whether you will get seat or not is very difficult as cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.
But yes when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 462 marks , you have low chances for Government Medical Colleges but yes being from obc, you have chances for A category or Government quota seat in following private medical college under Telangana state quota which are listed below along with their Neet 2019 cut off for OBC category under state quota :-
*MAHAVIR INST OF MED SCI, VIKARABAD:- 417 marks .
* MNR MEDICAL COLLEGE, SANGAREDDY:- 432
.
*MAMATA MEDICAL COLLEGE, KHAMMAM:- 436 marks
Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but cutoff keeps changing every year due to many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a better picture of the colleges in which you have chances and to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at
It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling
