AKTU mai BCA ke liye NTA Mai kon sa exam dena hoga

Abhishek Roy 28th Mar, 2021

As far as BCA from AKTU Uttar Pradesh is concerned, admission is usually based on merit while some of the Colleges conduct a Entrance Test. You do not need to appear for any Joint Examination by NTA for BCA.

i scored 192 marks in 16th march session 1 and my percentile is about 70. My questions are - 1) is NTA score and Percentile are both same things?, 2) one of my friend has scored less than 150 marks and his percentile is about 90+ but i have better marks but less percentile (NTA score) why is it so?

NAVNEET PANDEY 26th Mar, 2021

Hello abhay,

The NTA score and percentile are same things, they are your marks out of 100 after normalisation.

The normalisation process is simple and formula based, it depends on your shift, difficulty of examination, session and your marks also.

Your friend given examination in different shift and difficulty of his examination was higher than yours.

You can check out our rank predictor and also college predictor for more information and maybe it will clear your doubt in a better way.

how much we get nta score if we not answering any questions?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 25th Mar, 2021

Hi

Nta score and percentile score are one and the same thing

If you don't attempt any question then your marks will be 0 and

With 0 marks,

As per our predictor at ,

  • Your percentile will be around 5.51 - 5.91 percentile considering that the difficulty level of the question paper is moderate.

You can check the same at

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

In case, if you are thinking that why the percentile score is not zero for 0 marks.

Then,

The reason is that there are many students that get negative marks in JEE main examination i. e they score lesser than 0 marks .

But scoring 0 marks i. e around 5.51 - 5.91 percentile will be of no use as with this low percentile you cannot even qualify JEE main examination unless you are from PWD category

for example,

Category jeemain2020 jeemain2021 expected off

General :-     90.3765335                 90-95

GEN-EWS :-  70.2435518                  70 -75

OBC-NCL :-  72.8887969                   70 -75

SC     :-           50.1760245                  50 -55

ST :-                39.0696101                  40 - 45

PwD :-            0.0618524                      1- 2

Hello I want to ask whether the NTA score in jee result depends upon individual percentiles in each subject? For example; If i attempt only chemistry and physics section and leave the maths section completely, will i get good NTA score assuming that i have done chemistry and physics paper very well?

snigdha vig 25th Mar, 2021

Hi,

The final NTA percentile depends on the complete score score and not on the individual subjects. You can get a good percentile if you attempt only  physics and chemistry but it best to focus on all three subjects and try to attempt them properly as it will increase your chances to get a good score.

I hope this helped you.
