Hi Anushka, The trend or normalization of marks vs percentile depends on various factors such as marks obtained by topper, difficulty level of exam, number of participants writing exam, etc. So, this might cause less percentile of 95.946 even with 191 marks in JEE MAINS 2021. And you can check out the college predictor tool given below once again:
Thankyou!
Hi
With 68 percentile
Your rank will be around 327360 - 368000 as per our rank predictor at https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Your sc rank will be around 25,000.
With this rank you have very low have chances in NITs even if you are from SC category under state quota
For example,
Your profile suggest that you are from Manipur so you will be eligible for home state in NIT Manipur, which is one of the lower NITs
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, under home state quota 8128 sc rank was closing rank for gender neutral for sc category in NIT Manipur and it was for civil engineering
You can check the same at

Such problems are addressed by quite a number of students. Now the issue which yields lower percentiles with considerably good marks is the normalization. So if the paper of the shift is easier than the others then its expected that you will get a considerably less percentile despite of having good marks. This are the procedure of normalization and the decision of hard or easier is entirely depend on the definition of NTA.
So this is a reason behind this fluctuations. I would recommend you to attempt the further session of JEE MAINS.
I hope this might help. All the very best for your future endeavors!
Yes, nta score and percentile is one and the sane thing.
Percentile simply means the percentage of students that have scored equal to or below to that particular percentile in the JEE main examination
90 nta score means 90 percentile, that means you have scored better than 90 percent of students that appeared in JEE main .
