I have taken admission in 1st selection in +3 science in odisha. I have applied that college in 2nd option. After 1st selection I have filled up slide up option. But I have not selected in my 1st choice college. Can I applied for spot admission in my 1st choice college?

Sohamsengupta8 4th Nov, 2020

Hello student

As you have failed to get first choice of your college for admission then there is a scope for appearing for the spot admission in any college of your choice where you have applied before in a same session for admission. If the process and procedure allow yourself for spot admission and the rules cover your choice then there is a chance for you to get admission in the college of your choice for admission through spot admission procedure.

rachanapbennur 22nd Oct, 2020

Hello Anshuman!

Green card quotas or NRI quotas come under only state quota seats. The allotment of seat for NRIs will be on the basis of your merit or marks scored in NEET UG 2020. Students need to apply under NRI quota during counselling of NEET. Only those candidates are eligible who are or whose parents are NRI or in first blood relations if they are sponsered by NRI. The candidates need to produce their revelant document for proof.

Sahithi 20th Oct, 2020

Dear aspirant

Every year neet cutoff varies based on different facts like number of students appeared for the exam, number of students qualified for the exam, toughness of the paper and the previous year cutoff marks.

The minimum marks required by a general category student to get into any better college under state quota in the 2019 year cutoff is more than 500 more accurately is 525.
