Hi , with 502 marks your predicted rank is between 50336- 62486 according to https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor talking about marks last year closing rank for

General was 30947 in sln medical college, koraput

GC 31348 in government medical college balasore

SC 87767 in government medical college

Balangir

St 258727 in sln medical college  koraput

So according to that you have fair chances of you belong to sc or at category

Remember cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category

Which college can i get with 450 marks in neet 2020, Im from odisha general category?

Shreya shrestha 6th Sep, 2020

Hello candidate, let me explain you one thing if you score above 650 then you will get MAMC and above 635 surely a delhi college. Above 610 you will get colleges like Seth GS, IMS BHU, GMC chandigarh and many top state colleges. Above 590 top state colleges through state quota, second best through AIQ ( all india quota). Above 560 top college through state quota , decent medical colleges elsewhere. Above 540 you can get pretty good colleges in home state then with 510 get state college comfortably, borderline to get through AIQ. Above 490 get college in state, not a good one ( no chances in AIQ). With 480 borderline for state state quota and below this private med. colleges.

This is just a general prospective about neet marks ....

Thank you have a nice day...

please tell me the procedure for counselling of Jossa for general pwd candidate of odisha state.

Hi aspirant,

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is the conducting body of counselling for admission into 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 GFTIs.

  • Once the JoSAA counselling begins you will have to register yourself on the online portal and you will have to fill your preference order of your college and branch based on your rank.
  • After you have filled your choices then there is two mock seat allocation round whereby you can check which branch and college you would get Based on your rank. If required, you can make necessary changes in the preference order.
  • Then the actual seat allotment round begins.  you will be allocated seat based on your rank. The counselling usually lasts for seven rounds.
  • Once you are allocated a seat in any of the Institutions in your preference order then you will jave to pay the required seat acceptance fee and will have to get the receipt.
  • After this you will have to visit your nearest reporting center for document verification and there you will be having three options:
  1. Float: you will select this option if you are satisfied with your allocated seat but you would accept other one if a better Institute and branch within your preference order is allocated in subsequent rounds.
  2. Slide: You will select this option if you are satisfied with the allocated seat but you would accept other one if a better branch is allocated to within the same Institution in the subsequent rounds.
  3. Freeze: You will select this option if you are completely satisfied with the allocated seat and don't want to participate in further rounds of Counselling.
  • After all ,if you don't want to get the seat at all then you can put a seat withdrawal and can get your seat acceptance fee back.
  • Once seat is allocated finally you will report to the concerned Institution for getting admission.

All the best.

I am from Odisha, expecting 531 score gen category, UR, what is chance of getting in Karnataka in non domicile category in private college? which one?

rajeevanand843 15th Oct, 2020

Hello dear

As per questions level of NEET2020 there are very less chances of getting private seat in karnataka. As high number of candidates apply for karantaka private medical colleges. Anything less than 560-570 is not safe this year. As NEET results had been not declared so nothing can said that is only probable guess. You can also try in Kerala State through KEAM2020 if u want to get private medical colleges at low fees there you might get in mop up round because number of candidates applying for seats of other states are very low as compared to Karnataka. You can also try for chattisgarh and mp private colleges too. From the link below you can check Last year cutt off rank of Karnataka.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka/amp

you can predict your rank from below link then can compare from the cut off ranks

gud luck
