You cannot get admission in MS Ophthalmology on the basis of 12th/intermediate marks in Andhra medical college or any college.
This is because
MS Ophthalmology i. e Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology is a PG course.
To get admission in a medical college for MS ophthalmology, you need to first clear neet and do mbbs, then qualify pg entrance exams like neet pg and then on the basis of its rank, you can get admission in MS ophthalmology .

To be eligible one must pass 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category , or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category. Also, needs to be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the year of appearing for neet. General :- 50th Percentile
OBC:- 40th Percentile
SC :-40th Percentile

To be on the safer side, out of 720 marks, target at least around 575 - 625 marks for state quota mbbs seats and 650 marks in neet for All india quota mbbs seats if you belong to general category to get a seat in a Government Medical College

After MBBS students get an opportunity to work as junior residents in one of the biggest hospitals in our country which is Safdarjung hospital with a substantial OPD count. A lot of exposure and experience is inevitable.

The nomination of Junior Resident is based on the entrance exam then by counseling based on merit score in the exam for allowance of seats in several branches and personal interview is confirmed.
The entire authorized post of Junior Residents is 397.
The Interval of the Junior Resident post is 1 year
The entire permitted post of Senior Resident is 480. The time for this post is 3 years.
They are regaled as Temporary Govt. Servant. Their income scale is INR 15k - 39k with a grading fee of INR 6,600.
Suitability norms
The nominee with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (approved by MCI) in the required specialty after M.B.B.S.
