A body moving in a circular path with a constant speed has a.constant v b. Constant p c. Constant k.E. d. Constant acceleration

Akhila Nagasree 18th Nov, 2018

Hello,

The answer is c.kinetic energy.

When a body is moving in a circular motion with constant speed, the direction of it continuously changes and hence velocity(v), momentum(p), and acceleration change because they are vectors and their direction changes.only as kinetic energy is a scalar, it remains constant.

Hope this

Two balls are projected with angles 30 and 45. They have same velocity at the highest point then find the ratio of the horizontal ranges?

Akhila Nagasree 18th Nov, 2018

Hello,

When two balls reach the highest point they have only the horizontal velocity components

Then that is if they are equal then,

V1cos30=v2cos45,you can relation between v1 and v2.the ratio between the horizontal ranges is given by

R1/R2=( v1Sin2 (30)/2g))/(v2sin(45)/2g)=1:1

How come a positive hole can help in conducting electricity in p type semi conductor

Akhila Nagasree 18th Nov, 2018

Hello,

The doping alters the band structure of the semiconductor so that there are "missing" electrons (holes) in the valence band. This allows other electrons to "move" from an atom to a nearby one without jumping into the conduction band: they fill a hole "near to them", leaving a hole
