I would suggest you to prefer the recommended books as per your college syllabus for first year B.Sc physics as the college syllabus varies college to college.

As per the eligibility you should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subject in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognized board and As a General category - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects) to apply for NEET Entrance

if you want to write neet examination this year then you have to score 50% marks in PCB subjects according to the rules given by NTA . 

as you mentioned that about physics then yes you should give physics examination of board and shoul jzve been score above 50%
