The college can be compared on the facilities and placements.According to NIRF ranking we consider its facilities and exposure.The NIRF ranking of NIT Rourkela is 16, NIT Warangal 19, NIT Calicut 23,DTU 36.

As you have interest in Computer Science/Coding then in this case college does not matter as in this field only your skills matter.But the better college on NIRF ranking can provide you best/more opportunities to explore.

Now on the basis on placements the average package of NIT Rourkela is 15.18LPA,NIT Warangal 13.3LPA,NIT Calicut 8 LPA,DTU has 16LPA.

Hence on the basis of Placements DTU is best.I still recommend you to go for NIT Rourkela because it provides you more opportunities than DTU.

First of all, placements are completely depending on the knowledge, IQ and your HR. It is not completely decided that whether to join IIT or you get placed. But, I show you some results regarding the placement percentage in DTU. Delhi Technological University (DTU), in its latest campus placement drive for the academic year 2018 – 2019, recorded the highest CTC of INR 1.02 Cr.PA. With 323 companies visiting the campus for recruitment and making a total of 1434 job offers to the graduating students, there was a mix of organizations that were repeat recruiters as well as companies that recruited from the DTU campus for the first time.

78 Core Engineering and Technology firms like Maruti, L&T, etc., selected 272 students.

433 job offers from 99 Analytics and Consulting forms made this group of organizations the second highest recruiter of the season.

Some of the international job offers bagged by DTU students were with Facebook (London), Google (Munich), Landmark Group (Dubai), Uniqlo (Tokyo), and Codenation (Dubai).

Especially for b.Com, Shyam Lal College is much better than Dr. B.R. Ambedkar college.

Both the college are good in Placements and Teaching faculty but Shyam Lal is one notch better than BR Ambedkar college. In the terms of infrastructure and environment, Shyam Lal college is much better than BR Ambedkar college.

Yes BVRIT Narsapur is really good at placements as last year around 70% students were placed in to reputed companies in civil engineering. Also according to a report since the year 2018 BVIT Narsapur had a increase of 18% in the number of placements in the college. So overall BVIT Narsapur has a good record of placements.

BTech in digital techniques for design and planning placement records are not that good extremely inconsistent, average placements record is around 25%. The lowest package is offered 10K  and average packages is around 20K. Companies like Purple talk, My home, etc come for placements. BTech planning there is extremely less scope for this course mostly there are no chances for placement in this [particular field but there are chances for you to get placed in different sectors(something out of this particular course). Approximately 70% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 11 lacs p. a. and the average is 4-5 lacs p. a. The recruiting companies are Amazon, Wipro etc.

Ramaiah Institute of Technology is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU)
