what is salary after doing MA political science (hons) becoming political scientist or political analyst ?? please reply

theeanonymous 8th Jan, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Since it is not a commonly chosen career path , there is not much information on the exact salary but based on few salaries reported in India by valid sources ,at a beginning stage a Political Scientist with 1-4 years of experience can earn an average total compensation of 2-3 lakhs per year and with experience it can go up to 5 lakhs in a few year, depends on your progress. This will for sure vary with the orgnization you work for ,whether it is a government ,private or a non-profit organization. And coming to political analyst ,it is lucrative area of work ,again it depends on the organization you work for , if it is for big media companies or any other highly reputed organization , you can draw a good salary of Rs.50,000 to Rs.60,000 per month. With some experience and effective analysis, you can demand as high as Rs.1,00,000 as  monthly pay. So it has got a good scope ,but to earn like this you need to be good with your knowledge and skills.

-Students who failed to complete the requirement of attendance in practicals as prescribed in programme curriculum within the maximum span period prescribed.
