The procedure to apply in Central Universities for various undergraduate courses is similar that consists of several steps which I'm listing here below :
Step 1 - Registration of candidate after the release of notification by the University.
Step 2 - Form filling, scanning and uploading of required and relevant documents (For both merit based and entrance based examination).
Step 3 - In case of any entrance examination, downloading of admit card after the release of admit card by the University.
These are the majors steps that one will follow for apply in Central Universities for undergraduate courses. When you will be done with all these steps, the notifications to further admission processes will be released by the respective Universities and you have to follow it for securing a seat.

First you need to apply when the forms are out. DU will release cutoff list through which you may be able to track which college to opt for. Make a list of colleges you wish to study in and then track there cut-off. When cutoff comes at your level, go and take admission.
