Hello.I got 122/400 in DUET PG Political Science.Do I have any chance of making it to any of the colleges affiliated to DU?

Gbharath Raj 28th Oct, 2020

Hello applicant,

I would like you to know that with 124 marks you have a few chances of getting a good college in DU. You need to have a good percentage in best of 4 in class 12th so as to get DU. The marks of just one subject is not important.  But you try once because cut off changes every year particularly this year because of the pandemic going on very less students have attended to the exam.

Wish you good luck

I want to know which books I should read in BA journalism, from Calcutta university? I have English and Political science in general.

Sushmita Singh 18th Sep, 2020

Hi Rajashree,

I think you want to know about the books that are preferable for your course study. So the list of books to be read is available on the website of the University in the syllabus section for the course. You can open the official website and then select your course's syllabus and all the list of books to be read are available. You can shortlist it from there according to your choice of study and interest. It is not possible for someone else to suggest you what books to read as you yourself must be knowing much better what you generally prefer reading and which author's book you will be able to understand easily.

Greetings manya!

You haven't mentioned the College you are asking about, however going by the question I am guessing you are talking about delhi university admission. Well these is a good news for you, the university have decided that from this year their will be no marks deduction on changing stream.

As you have said you had commerce with political science in 12th, you can definitely go for both political science hons as well as sociology hons. Without any deduction in percentage.

Hope it helps.
