Well with nearly 18k rank chances of JSS, AKG, Galgotia,IMS Ghaziabad Etc. are very less but there are fair chances that you can get into ABES, G.L. Bajaj or some any other good college.

Instead Of UPTU You can also take admission in Amity University , Galgotia University etc.

There are only 15% management quota seats available in PSIT. The admisssions are mostly on the basis of JEE and UPSEE ranks.

The admission fees for various courses vary.For btech from cs and it branch, the total admission fees will be around 1,50,000 INR and for btech in other core branches the total fees esmitate would be 1,25,000-1,30,000 INR. For BBA and BCA courses the total fees would approximately range from 80,000 to 1,00,000.If you would avail the bus services, then they will charge you 36,000 INR and for hostel facilities ,for ac rooms the fees would be above 80,000 and for non ac rooms it will be around 60,000 or above.

General admission process in PSIT, Kanpur 

• Seats are filled by counselling on the basis of rankings of CSJM University entrance exams.

Admission through Management Quota

There are a total 15% Management seats.

• Minimum 60% marks in class 10th and 12th is required (minimum 60% PCM marks)
• A student has to give a Aptitude test of 30 minutes (Basic Maths and English)
• So on these basis, a student gets admission through Management Quota.

If you're going to appear for the aptitude test for the direct admissions in PSIT Kanpur, then you need not to worry much. There will be only one test which will consist of the questions from the field of general mathematics, English essentials like comprehension and grammer rules and some logical reasoning questions. You don't have to prepare much for them if you have good command over english and some logical skills, then you will surely pass this test.All the questions will be in MCQ form.

There is no such interview held in PSIT after the entrance exam.As PSIT take admisson in two ways I am mentioning below:

• Admission based on UPSEE exam rank .
• Admisson based on the merit list prepared on the basis of your entrance exam score.
