PSIT Kanpur is affiliated to APJAKTU. So, 85% of institutes seats are filled by counseling on the basis of rankings of UPSEE. Remaining 15% are under management. So, to get directly into PSIT, you need to join through management quota. Yes, to get admission through management quota you need to write an aptitude test. If you pass, you 'll get a seat.

The admissions in PSIT is based o two main entrance exams UPSEE/JEE-main so if you are not qualified in jee main then you are not eligible for PSIT admission but if you qualify UPSEE then you are eligible forthe admission. Moreover, the merit will decide your admission in PSIT. This merit is decided by JEE/UPSEE marks+class 12th marks. Best of luck for your future

PSIT takes admission through Jee rank, UPSEE as well as board percentage.
The main thing is you can get admission in PSIT, no need to just guve them a call that you want to take admission there.
