A state-owned enterprise in India is called Public Sector Undertaking PSU or a Public Sector Enterprise. The company stock is majority-owned by the government in a PSU. PSUs are classified as central public sector enterprises (CPSUs, CPSEs) or state level public enterprises (SLPEs).
PSU is government job but not 100% government. You can enter in this job through GATE examination. If you are clear the GATE examination then you are an eligible candidate. So many engineers course are best for PSU, like- mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, agriculture engineering, electronic and communication engineering.
