my rank is 24500 all india quota and 488 in punjab state quota what should be my preference order for filing choice ofmedical colleges?

pdwords Student Expert 13th Jan, 2022

Hello,

As you have missed out mentioning the name of the category, I'm assuming it to be general,

Going by 2019 cut-offs, the chances for GMC is tough as the cut-offs are on higher side comparatively to that of yours, With AIR 24500 you may have chances for government dental colleges as follows through state quota-

  • Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Patiala
  • Punjab Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Amritsar

however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

total number of candidates appearing for the exam

difficulty level of the paper

top NEET scores

reservation

seat matrix, etc..

You can go through previous year state cut-offs for Punjab at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-punjab

Can I get Admission in Dr Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences in 2021 Neet score: 469 domicile: Punjab

Riya 2nd Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

First Off looking at your marks and looking upon the last year that is the 2020 cutoff the closing rank for this particular dental institution was around 59,725.

And also this college has 100% All India Seats and no criteria of 15% All india seats and 85% State quota seats unlike other dental and MBBS institutions . so you having the domicile of Punjab is not going to fetch you admissions in this particular institution if you do not clear present years cutoffs,

As you know cutoffs varies every year depending upon various parameters so can't be sure about this years too.

You can wait until the cutoff is out and then probably also participate in the counselling process to be more accurate .

You can go through the below links if you have any doubts related to cutoffs and counselling procedures.

Anyways do not lose hope and assuming this might have helped you

Good Luck!!!

what is the procedure to get magement seat in private college in gujarat and punjab if i am from rajasthan ?(please explain complete procedure )

Abhinav Pandey 27th Nov, 2021

Through NEET there are Merit Seats, Management Seats & NRI Seats. All of these quotas will eventually make you doctor only the only difference is the amount of money you spend.

Getting a management seat or NRI seat in medical college is a difficult thing. If you think you need help or more information then you can talk with me.

Eligibility Criteria—

  • Indian Nationals, NRI, OCI, & PIO applicant must have to appear in the NEET-UG exam conduct by NTA.
  • You must 17 year old or more at the time of admission.
  • The higher age restrict for students seeking admission in MBBS will be 25 years.
  • Minimum 50% marks scored in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th board qualifying examination.
  • Candidate appearing for 12th board examination must register and appear
    for NEET UG entrance exam.
  • NEET Qualifying Marks
  • You need to scored 50% marks in NEET UG entrance exam for Direct Admission in MBBS through Management Quota.

Any Indian Candidate who has Qualified NEET are eligible to take management quota.

Different state have different kind of distribution for giving seats to the candidates. But generally speaking there is merit quota seat, management quota and NRI quota.

The process of getting admission under any quota is overall same.

A candidate has to appear in NEET and qualify the exam and attend central counseling or state counseling which ever state a candidate is interested. Only difference between management and Merit quota is the amount of the fee structure.

If you need help regarding admission in any specific college or specific state then do take my help — states like - Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, etc

You could apply through All India counselling for deemed colleges.

You can apply for state counselling for private colleges of other states or your state too.

should I fill neet 2021 counselling. I got 400 marks from gen category punjab plzz tell??

vermajismya 23rd Nov, 2021
Dear student

You qualified the exam it means you can participate in the counseling of mcc and ayush courses
But if you are thinking that you will get government mbbs college with this marks then sorry to tell you that you will not get any government college
I will advice you don't participate it will waste your time and more over you belong to general category
But if you want to take admission in any government college you can try for bhms courses
For this register yourself in ayush counselling
Website of ayush ; aaccc.gov.in
You can also download the PDF of last year counselling result you will understand better of getting government college by your rank
If you are participating in the counselling then make sure you have all documents like class 10,12 marksheet ,photographs, category certificate if applicable

If your aim is government mbbs college please don't participate and start studying today and aim for 650+ because every year cutoff going high as you have seen this year 3 student got 720 marks so for high aim you have to work very hard and smart too

Hope after seeing my answer you will able to take decision and further queries you can ask me in comment !!

Thanks
