Sorry to say, but unfortunately Punjab university don't offer bachelor course in journalism and mass communication, but it offers masters , pg, and diploma course in journalism and mass communication,

To get admission in Punjab University you have to have minimum 50% in aggregate in your 12th boards. In 2020 the entrance to BA course was merit based and there was no requirement of giving PUCET however for BA B.Ed. course there was a requirement of the aptitude test , for BA LLB there is a requirement to give PUCET so it depends on which course you want to take.

You didn't mentioned what branch are you from. With no info of your stream nothing can be said.
In general the PG entrance exams have the same syllabus of BSc/BA/BCOM as you have studied. For precision you can also follow the syllabus of BSC/BA/BCOM of Punjab university. You can follow it.
You can also search google about it , you may get a syllabus if available or do the above mentioned.

For admission into BSc IT, the students have to complete their 10+2 from a recognized board.They have to secure a minimum aggregate of atleast 50%marks for the admission. There may be relaxation for SC, ST and other reserved categories.

As per previous year cut off for BA.LLB from Punjab University the closing rank for general category was 1661, for Chandigarh campus it was 540, for PURC, Ludhiana it was around 700 and for SSGPURC, Hoshiarpur it was 1100.
