Maharashtra gives reservation to students who passed their 12th from Maharashtra state junior college.85% of the seats are reserved as :30% seats are reserved for state quota . 70% is a regional quota out off which 30% is for females. And remaining are for reserved category students.

There are different rules for domicile in different states. Some states require the candidate to complete his/her 10th and 12th in the state whereas, some states like Gujarat require the candidate o reside in the state for 10 years consecutively.
