If you have scored good marks in 1 year, then you will be eligible for changing your branch. It also depends on the availability of the seats in the particular branch. You have to score an aggregrate percentage of more than 75% to change any branch. You have to simply fill a branch change form from your college after giving the  2 sem exams.

Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) has announced the eligibility criteria for REAP 2019.

To be eligible, candidates applying for B.E./B.Tech must have passed 12th from a recognized board like BSER, CBSE, etc.

Candidates must have secured an aggregate of 45% in 12th board and there is a relaxation of 5% for reserved category.

Yes, you can apply for REAP 2019 but the cutoff will depend on various factors.

But, you can hope to get RTU Kota if you are from the HOME STATE.

The parameters which determine the eligibility criteria of REAP 2019 are mentioned below. Candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility requirements related to each parameter mentioned below.

Academic Qualification:

• Candidates applying for B.E./B.Tech courses should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Science from Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER), CBSE or any equivalent.

• Candidates should have secured an aggregate of 45% marks in 10+2 or equivalent exam. However, REAP 2019 eligibility criteria for the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC - NCL/ MBC -NCL candidates from the state of Rajasthan) provides a relaxation and they need to score just 40% marks.

• Candidates should have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any of Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology as the optional subject.

Age Limit:

• To fulfil the eligibility criteria of REAP 2019, candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1994.

• In case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Person with Disability (PwD) candidates, there is a relaxation of 5 years in the upper
  age limit i.e. SC, ST and PwD candidates who were born on or after October 01,
  1989 are eligible.

• Only the date of birth mentioned in the Secondary Education mark sheet/ certificate will be accepted as proof of age.

REAP is the common counselling form for more than 80+ affiliated colleges across Rajasthan. The counselling  is based on the score of JEE Mains. So without JEE mains you can't appear for counselling. As you have stated that you have scored 117595 in JEE, so this is approximately equal to  more than -50 marks. In colleges like RTU kota getting civil is impossible but you can opt for other colleges getting civil branch will depend on the level of competition and some luck.You can opt for civil as first choice and other branches as other choices. Form filling have been started from 30 May 2019 and last date of form filling is 29 June 2019.

Hello Yogu.There are several colleges in Rajasthan Technical University which gives admission in B Tech. and the cut off doesn't matter much .Infact your rank is far more good for it.The top brand of the university being SKIT.Further I would suggest you to go for the NITs counselling.Based on your rank in OBC NCL Category you can even get a seat in any NIT.

In colleges like MBM and RTU kota you can't get CSE on 85 marks but in SKIT and JECRC getting CSE branch will depend on the level of competition and some luck.You can opt for CSE as first choice and IT, other branches as other choices. In JECRC & SKIT getting seat wil be easy in other branches and you will probably get a seat in 1 or 2 counselling. Form filling have been started from 30 May 2019 and last date of form filling is 29 June 2019. Academic fees of RTU affiliated colleges is 80k per annum. And these colleges also have a decent placement.
