MSRIT is an old institution and the more reputed one, Whereas MSRUAS is newly opened.
MSRIT is affiliated to VTU and is autonomous whereas MSRUAS is an independent unversity and is not affiliated to VTU.
MSRIT offers BE courses whereas MSRUAS offers BTech courses.
MSRIT university considers COMEDK-unigauge and CET scores, whereas MSRIT considers COMEDK and CET scores for merit based seats.
So on te whole both are about the same and both are good options.
