Reservation
Hello,
Reservation of sc/st is completely on the basis of caste and there's no income limit. Income limit is there for only obc category. So, being from SC category you are eligible for reservation even if your family income is above 8 lakhs per annum.
15% MBBS seats are reserved for SC (Scheduled Caste) students. 7.5% MBBS seats are reserved for ST (Scheduled Tribe) students.
Thank you.
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, if you have mentioned your caste in MHT-CET then you can certainly get a chance of reservation as now you have caste certificate but if you have filled the form from general category and now you are having caste certificate then you can not avail the category quota in the exam despite you have caste certificate.
Hope you found this answer useful. Stay motivated stay positive.
All the best!
Hi aspirant...!
Hope you're doing great..!
So with regard of you're query. You will not be able to secure a seat in DSNLU in the general category if your rank is 5300. However, you may be able to find a seat in GC-AP (general category in ANDHRA PRADESH). The CLAT cutoff in gc-ap for 2021 is 6386. In the gc-ap, the cutoff for 2020 is 7648. So, you can easily get a seat in DSNLU with you're rank.
I am providing you a link below, you can able to check the cut off ranks of the years both 2021 and 2020.

Hi
I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but you cannot have ews reservation.
This is because,
You belong to BC-E which is a sub category of OBC i. e you belong to obc but to be eligible for ews reservation you should not be covered under any scheme of reservation for OBC/ SC /ST category and as you belong to obc, you are not eligible for ews
For your reference,
EWS eligibility is provided below:-
-------------------) you shouldn't be covered under the scheme of reservation for OBCs ,SCs and STs
-------------------)your gross family annual income from all sources i.e. salary, agriculture, business, profession, etc. must be less than 8 lakh rupees
-------------------) irrespective of the annual family income one won't be eligible for ews reservation if his /her family owns
a) agricultural land of 5 acres and above
b) Residential area of 1000 sq ft. and above
c) Residential plot of 100 sq. yards and above in notified municipalities
d) Residential, plot of 200 sq. yards or above 200 sq. yards in the areas which are those other than the notified municipalities.

But a normal way if the single girl child belongs to reservation category then she is eligible for getting the privileges of reservation which is enlisted in the central list norms. Girls student has a unlisted reservation of 33% in the sector of politics only.
Hello aspirant,
I would like to tell you that The Income certificates are valid for upto 3 years. So, you can use your valid Income certificate issued in 2020, during NEET UG Counselling , and you will avail the benefits of OBC-NCL reservation, which is 27%.
So when you select OBC-NCL as your category, you are entitled to reservation. And if you qualify in NEET and when you appear for counselling because you benefitted from OBC-NCL as your category, you are supposed to submit the proof of OBC-NCL certificate for authentication purposes.
