If you want a bit higher branch in some good nits like jalandhar jamshedpur Silchar you need to score higher as this percentile won't work out . With this percentile you can get lower branches like metallurgy production. But still you can get good branches in some lower nits like nit srinagar , nit mizoram

If you want an NIT and considering you as a general candidate there is no chance of getting any NIT in south as the cut offs are very high compared to other nits. But you can try for gfti's like guru ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya . You have fair chances of getting a seat there.
