According to the carrer comparsion of these two colleges the presidency university is having the rating is 4.4/5.0 adn where as the C V raman college of engineering is having only 3.5/5.0 and the presidency is also ownership is private and also state university and this college

Yeah this is ok. But for government job you should know about branches.
There are lots of government jobs available for Civil then Mechanical and electrical but
if you choose CSE or IT or ECE then there is very less almost zero government job.
