Experience gained during my Advanced PGP in Data Science and Machine Learning (Full-Time). Udemy and SimpliLearn were two options I considered. I decided to go with NIIT after doing significant research since it is a legitimate educational institution, not simply an online learning service.
Students who want to become data scientists might benefit from their assistance in developing portfolios and gaining experience in the field. Both their workouts and their pricing were more enticing than the competition's. Since my predecessors had recognised the importance of every topic, the comprehensive NIIT curriculum drew me in. Executives from various companies provide the presentations. Because of this, they are a smart financial choice. As a result, there were less questions. Doubt sessions are useful when dealing with difficult subjects or problems. Mock interviews, real-world projects, and resume writing are all part of the curriculum. NIIT, on the other hand, stands out from the crowd of online educational resources. As a result, they helped me get my first job. In addition to meeting new individuals, my class exposed me to the most recent developments in data science and how they connect to the business world.

In the previous years, students have interned in Ford, Ashok Leyland etc. The stipends of such short-term internships ranged from Rs 5000 to a maximum of Rs. 20000. Such a component increases the employability of the student. Internships are a good addition to the CV of a student.
The placements of RV College of Engineering are good. The highest package for the placement has gone up to 12 lacs whereas the average package is around 6-7 lacs. Many corporations, organisations and institutions come for placement to the college. Regular companies visitng the campus for placements are Cognizant, Infosys, Mahindra, TATA Communications, Bosch, Wipro, Aricent. The previous years had a lot of placements in organisaitons such as TATA, Tata Consulting Services, Royal Enfield, Bajaj and more. Most of the students are placed although the placement rate is not 100%.
There are off-campus placements as well. Public announcements are made for the same.
A small portion of the student population applicable for placements opt for higher studies and do not sit for campus placements.
There are many other colleges as well for Mechanical Engineering. PES in Bangalore has a higher placement rate where the highest package goes up to 24 lacs. Thappar University has very efficient tie-up with companies and most of their students are placed in those companies.
