The candidate must satisy the below eligiblity criteria to apply for KCET Exam.
To fulfil the eligibility criteria of KCET 2019, the candidate should have studied and passed from a recognised institution situated in Karnataka. The academic study from a state institute should be for a minimum period of 7 years, starting from 1st standard to 2nd PUC/12th standard as on July 1 of the exam year.
Candidates should have appeared/passed either SSLC/10th standard or 2nd PUC/12th standard exam from Karnataka.

for the UG courses in RV College of engineering Bangalore the admission is based on the exam k-cet with his Karnataka common entrance test. This test schedule on 18th 19th 20th and 27th of the April 2019. So if you need to get into the college you will need a appear for the exam.

The cut off ranks for the year 2017 were also nearly the same with a difference of barely 20-30 ranks.

The tution fees is fixed for students who get admission through comedk in above mentioned colleges is around 1,50,000 rupees. (if you don't havea domocile) . If you have a domicile then fees will be around 50k-1lakhs.
The development fees vary fro college to college it varies between the 15,000 to 20,000 rupees.
Hostel fees varies between 60,000 to 1,00,000 rupees.
