Why Many People are answering GATE related FAQ saying to use GATE Predictor Tool? Are those qualified to answer with such sales Tools? Bad

Rohan K 21st Apr, 2018

Hello Tarun. Thanks for contacting Careers360 and we hope we will be able to answer your query.

I understand your point. It is unethical on the part of the so called GATE answerers to make the students use a paid tool of Careers360, the GATE rank cum college predictor.

There may be several reasons behind this: one, bring that the site needs to generate revenue and that we keeping in line with our aim of helping students to make correct careers decisions, we obviously direct them to use the paid service of ours. Secondly, there are not many GATE predictors as accurate as ours. "If you are good at something, don't do it for free", said a wise man. The same policy in Careers360. We feel that nobody can give results like us.

Now, even though we want to help you guys by giving out tools and answers that require minimum effort on the part of the receiver, but still, we are unable to guide you properly. Sorry for the lapse on our part.

Still, if you want to know that GATE cutoffs, you can see this article of ours which may help you:

Hope this helps you and all the best!

Sales officer jb role is there necessary to roaming daily on road fr sales officer

Rukaiya Chaglani 27th May, 2018

As a sales representative or 'rep', it would be your job to sell your company's products or services. You would be responsible for finding and winning new customers, as well as looking after existing customer accounts. You could specialise in one area of consumer goods, such as toiletries or sports goods.

So there is no particular need as such to roam on the road daily, however initially some field work may be required.

Suraj Mallick 7th Jun, 2018

Excellent profile you have. It will literally be a shame if you don't get into a top IIM. Give it your best and try to score as high as you can.

Regarding percentile for getting a call into the next round:

IIM A -99.6+

IIM B - 99+

IIM C - 99.2+

IIM L - 98.7+

IIM K - 98.2+

IIM S - 97 +

IIM I - 97+

These figures are only estimates based on previous year trends and should not be taken as sacrosanct.

All the best!

I am working professional, And i have experience of 3.5years in sales and marketing.should i go with online pgdm.?it is worth????

Apurva Sawant 9th Aug, 2018

Hi Junaid,

Sreetama has indeed given a comprehensive answer. You should consider factors such as fees, ROI factor etc. before coming to a conclusion.

I will elaborate on WeSchool's AICTE approved distance learning MBA level programmes since a dear friend of mine benefitted from pursuing it.

Welingkar offer their AICTE approved PGDM courses in the hybrid mode. It is an effective format which is a composite system of competent online and offline study initiatives, like virtual classrooms, online lectures, video study materials, interactive real world workshops, training sessions and influencer programs. This assists students in understanding subjects with more clarity.

Their curriculum is at par with the curriculum of top B schools in the country.

Also, Hybrid mode makes it very convenient for working professionals to learn as you earn without compromising on their current job in any way. You can go to https://bit.ly/2Om1ZMD for further details.

I have completed my Hospitality and hotel administration. But I want to work in Marketing & sales Department for this should I need do MBA

Akshay Kadam 21st Nov, 2017
If you do MBA with major specialization in marketing management then you will definitely have lots of option for working in sales and marketing field. And this MBA degree will also add up a star in your hospitality and hotel administration degree.

But this is not the only option for working in sales and marketing field. There are many companies which also opens the job in sales and marketing field who has only done undergraduation. So you can look out for these jobs on various online job portal like naukri.com, monster etc.

Still after doing MBA from a top college there is a better chance that you can get a better Job profile with a high package. Also this MBA degree can help you throughout your life. Ther will be very less certainty of Job without MBA degree.

Take your decision wisely!!
