I got in 12th board 75.2 percent and I am prepared for JEE advanced 2021. I am take admission in in Harvard University what is the the process eligibility e and exam date of sat and TOEFL please provided me because I am totally confused I have not any ideas to admission process of abroad college.

Dear student,
SAT is conducted 5 times a year in India. The test is usually conducted in the months of March, May, August, October, and December. There have been some changes in the administration dates of the SAT and SAT Subject Tests in 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic. You can apply for the exam on the official website of sat. There is no specific eligibility criteria given by the authorities for sat. The official website for sat is:

Toefl is an English proficiency exam. The official website for toefl where you can register yourself is:

There is no such specified age criteria or education qualification orprerequisites to appear for the TOEFL test.

i sat for jee mains 2019 and have passed my boards in 2019. am i eleigible to sit for jee mains 2021 this year?

Hello Aspirant,

Yes of course you are eligible for JEE-Main 2021 because as per the latest number of attempts if a candidate has passed his/her class 12th in 2019 or later on is eligible for JEE-Main 2021 and for you this will be the last attempt of JEE-Main so be careful.

On December 16th 2020 the application process for JEE-Main 2021 February attempt has been started by National Testing Agency (NTA) which is the conducting authority for JEE-Main 2021. You can apply for JEE-Main from the official portal of JEE-Main which is given below :-

Note that this application process will continues till January 16th 2021 and last date for payment of application fee is January 17th 2021 after which neither application nor application fee will be accepted and then after the correction window will be opened for the applicants from January 19th to January 21st 2021. Admit cards will be available for download from second week of February 2021 and the examination will be conducted from February 23rd to February 26th 2021 in two shifts per day, for February attempt.

A candidate will also have option to apply for one Session or more than one Session (February/ March /April /May 2021) together and pay exam fee accordingly. In other words, if a candidate wishes to apply only for one Session, he / she has to pay Examination Fee only for that Session during the current application period and will have opportunity to apply again for the March/ April / May Sessions.

Note that the photographs or images which you will be uploading for JEE-Main 2021 should be as same as the criteria set by NTA which are enlisted below as per the official information brochure released by NTA :-

  • The recent photograph should be either in colour or black/white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
  • File size for candidate’s photograph should be in the range of 10 kb - 200 kb. File size for candidate’s signature should be in the range of 4kb - 30kb.
  • File size for duly verified result awaited attestation form should be in the range of 50kb - 500kb.
  • File size for category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) should be in the range of 50kb to 300KB.
  • File size for PwD certificate should be in the range of 50kb - 300kb in jpg/jpeg format.

To qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate percentage criteriabut yes if you want to take admission into NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% in your class 12th if you belongs to General/Unreserved category and 65% if you belongs to any of the reserved category.

Also from this year according to New Education Policy the JEE-Main examination will be conducted in English, Hindi and other regional languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia and Malayalam.

In JEE-Main 2021 there will be two sections for each subject, Section-A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section-B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value.

In Section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10. There will be no negative marking for Section B.

All question will be of 4 marks and in MCQs there will be negative marking of (-1) on incorrect attempt.

Hello,

The official website for SAT exam is https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat . For the Indian applicant the sat fee  will be around $106 (with written essay) or $94 (without written essay) . Therefore, in Indian rupees it will be around 6200 to 7000INR for the general sat test. if consider for the subject sat then it will be $111.

For 2021 vit is also accepting jee and sat score apart from viteee,do vit give weightage for jee score for admission in 2021?

Dear student,
You heard that right. Apart from its own entrance exam (viteee), Vellore Institute of Technology will accept admissions based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 and Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) scores as well. It had mentioned JEE and SAT scorecard under the qualifying examination section in the VITEEE 2021 brochure. So now you can take admission in vit by either appearing for viteee or jee mains/sat.

SAT is taken usually by high school juniors and seniors in order for them to get into good colleges. The college board states that the SAT measures the student's literacy and writing skills which is required for his academic success in college.

SAT consist of 3 section in total which are critical reading, writing and mathematics. The exam is total of 1600 marks. Total scores are calculated by adding up the marks of the 3 sections. Anything above 1200 is considered as a good score in SAT.

Now how to apply for SAT :-

  • The candidates need to register at collegeboard website.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to your email id.
  • Prepare thoroughly for your SAT.
  • Take the test on the given date.
  • Make sure you carry your pencil and your passport. The passport is the only form of identity they'll accept.

If you're looking to take admission in a particular course then you can give the SAT subject test as well which is a total of 800 marks. These are offered in areas of literature, mathematics, sciences and foreign languages.

However your SAT score will cover only 20% of your application in college the rest will be your extra curricular activities, application essay, your highschool scorecard and letter of recommendation.
