how much score i should get to achieve seat in computer science

Previa Gayu 13th Jun, 2025

To get a seat in Computer Science branch in a good engineering college your required score depends on the exam you are writing If you are writing AP EAMCET then a rank below ten thousand gives you a good chance in top government colleges For private colleges you may get CSE seat even with a higher rank around twenty five thousand If you are writing JEE Main then a percentile above ninety five gives better chances for NITs For general category students competition is higher while reserved categories like EWS SC ST OBC may get CSE seat with slightly lower ranks Try to target above ninety five marks in AP EAMCET or above one hundred fifty marks in JEE Main to stay on the safer side

Appgect 37 marks life science course how much rank I get

Swati 16th Jun, 2025

Hi Aspirant
If you have secured thirty seven marks in the AP PGECET for the Life Sciences course your rank will depend on various factors including the overall performance of candidates the number of applicants in your subject paper and the difficulty level of the exam in that particular year

Generally in AP PGECET scoring around thirty seven marks in Life Sciences places a candidate in a moderate rank range This score does not fall into the top bracket but it is not considered a low score either Based on previous trends and patterns candidates scoring between thirty five and forty marks have secured ranks between one thousand two hundred and one thousand eight hundred However this is just a general range and can vary each year

Your exact rank may fluctuate based on how many candidates performed better or worse than your score in the same subject Also the number of candidates applying for Life Sciences plays a critical role in deciding the overall rank distribution

Candidates from reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe or Backward Classes may benefit from reservation policies and might secure a seat in good colleges even with a rank closer to one thousand five hundred to two thousand For general category candidates the competition may be a little more intense and colleges may require slightly higher ranks depending on the course and seat availability

In addition to this most of the AP PGECET seat allotment is done through a centralized counselling process which is held in multiple rounds Your rank in the entrance exam will be the key factor in shortlisting your options during the counselling phase It is advisable to apply in all counselling rounds even if you are not satisfied with the first allotment There are always chances that a better seat may become available in later rounds due to seat withdrawals and rearrangements

You should also keep track of official websites and portals related to the AP PGECET counselling to check the cutoffs for your chosen course in previous years This can give you a good idea of which colleges accepted candidates in your rank range and how many seats are available for your category

Another factor that may slightly impact your admission chances is whether you are applying for full time courses or part time or sponsored courses Some universities offer sponsored seats which may not require very high ranks and may offer you an alternative path if your rank is not enough for regular seats

Finally do not limit yourself to only one or two colleges Look for all options available for your rank and be open to other courses related to Life Sciences as well This will help you maximize your chances of admission and ensure that you do not miss out on good opportunities

A score of thirty seven marks in AP PGECET Life Sciences can generally result in a rank between one thousand two hundred and one thousand eight hundred Your exact rank may vary based on paper difficulty and competition Category and counselling performance will influence final seat allotment Be sure to attend all rounds and explore all options

Class 12 science inspire award

OISHEE BANERJEE 13th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant, hope you're having a a great day.

So, the INSPIRE program is mainly for students who are really good in science, and it’s managed by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. For Class 12 students, the award you're probably referring to is the INSPIRE Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE).

If you’re in the top 1% of your Class 12 board exams or if you have a really good rank in exams like JEE Advanced (top 10,000), or if you qualified NTSE, KVPY, or international science olympiads, then you might be eligible. But the scholarship is only for students who go into pure science fields after Class 12: like B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Maths. It doesn't apply to engineering or medical courses.

The scholarship gives Rupees 5,000 per month and also Rupees 20,000 extra every year for summer research projects. The application usually happens online, and many colleges help with that process once your admission is confirmed.

So if you're going for a B.Sc. or similar course and your marks or ranks match the criteria, there’s definitely a chance you can get the INSPIRE scholarship. Make sure to check the official portal when applications open.

Hope this helps you get an idea. All the best for your future in science!
