i comes under savitabai phule pune university and my home state obc rank is 442 can i get cse branch in pict pune ?

Being a OBC student and have the rank of 442 in Pune Institute of Computer technology Pune there is a possibility of levelling off the CSE branch seat in PICT,Pune. According to previous years mains 2020 cut off record of Pune Institute of Computer technology Pune first page was 2779, and in the second page it was 2848, according to this cutoff there is an immense possibility for you to get a CSE branch seat in Pune Institute of Computer technology, Pune.

Congratulations for scoring such great percentile in MHTCET 2021. With this good percentile, you can get admission in some of the good colleges of the state. Also, as you are a OBC category student, your chances of admission increase drastically.

Is there any fees concession for sc candidate in IIIT PUNE ?

Not sure above the amount of concession, however in every NIT, IIT and IIIT, there is a concession on hostel and admission fee but some colleges take full mess fee from all the students where as there are colleges which provide concession in mess fee too for SC, ST, OBC and EWS students.

Hello,

To get admission in PICT pune your CET score must be in the range 97.5-99 percentile.
The cutoff for every year changes but it doesn't change with much margin.
So you can consider scoring In this range.
The college cutoff is always high every year.
The placement of college is really good. The highest package offered is 38LPA and average package is 7-8LPA.

JEE Main cut-off by rank for the year 2019 for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering was:-

MHT CET cut-off by score for the year 2020 for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering was:-

Round 1- 98.4

Round 2- 98.31

I am not from Maharashtra...can I get admission in PICT Pune or WCE on the basis of my MHT CET score?

Hello,

Yes you will get admissions in SCTR's Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Pune and Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli with MHT CET score even if you don't belong to Maharashtra state as long as you get the required cut off score. Maharashtra State CET cell has released the application form of MHT CET 2021 at mahacet.org 2021. The last date to apply for MHT CET 2021 is July 15.  The MHT CET exam dates are not yet declared it will be declared soon by the officials. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information.

which is best electronics in SPIT, Mumbai or Extc in PICT, Pune on placement basis?

Hi Aspirant,

SPIT college is slightly better in electronics as compared to PICT.Pune due to its decent placement rates.The college provides more than 97% of placements in Electronics engineering and moreover the highest salary package offered in this college is 42 LPA and the top recruiting companies of this college are TCS, JP Morgan, Morgan and Stanley.Infrastructure is good and the college provides a peaceful environment to study.However faculties are not that great and the college provides average faculty while some teachers are really good.However the best thing you will get from this college is the placements.

see your rank is excellent , however I want to clarify about the government jobs of engineering discipline scenario in recent market trends. government sectors engineering jobs in mostly available for electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications and civil engineering domain, so if your main target is to get government job in engineering domain , you should take any of the above mentioned streams.
