As per the reviews and information, it is worth to join CSE at PICT, Pune as it one of the top private college in Pune for CSE branch specially. Also, CSE a wide scope than ECE in future. Also, the fee of PICT is less than VIT. However, both VIT and PICT has good placememt records, but when it comes for placements in VIT, all students from VIT vellore, bhopal, etc gather together at Vellore campus only, which increases competition.

See from the percentile there is no 100% accurate method to calculate rank from percentile but if we go through previous years trends than on such percentile your rank is expected in the range of 32,001 – 41,000. Note that this is not your exact rank because it might have slight variations to the actual rank.

So on such rank and category you have no chances to get any seat in PICT Pune as per previous year's cut-off because last year the closing rank for PICT Pune was 2250 for OBC Category for BE Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering through MHT CET Counselling.

To get enrolled in First Year Engineering Courses in PICT pune you can through two ways management quota or Institutional Level Seats.

The criteria to get admission is that:

students should have good academic percentage in qualifying examination and also appeared in MHT-CET or JEE Main.

even for admission in VIT pune you need to have been appeared in MHT-CET or JEE Main and you should meet their cutoffs and should have acquired fifty percentage in secondary examinations.

At this rank it is quite difficult to get PICT Pune and VIT Pune. PICT Pune has admission criteria through Maharashtra CET and JEE mains. Only 15% seats are filled through JEE Mains, so competition is very high. According to the  previous years Cutoff, I am sorry to say that with 84 percentile in JEE Mains or OBC rank of 56,007, you will not get any seat in PICT Pune. And at this rank you have less chance to get VIT Pune. In VIT Pune you can get only some branch like Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering etc. No worries there are some other good colleges that you may get at this rank.

Based on your category rank, under All India seat you might NOT be able to get into majority of NITs under Other State quota. However, you may have a good chance in Home State quota depending on the state. Every year Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Society for Computer Technology and Research admissions are conducted for the students on the basis of cut off declared by Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Society for Computer Technology and Research.

According to the previous year cutoffs, the chances of you getting a seat in PICT Pune is very less. In 2019 the cutoff by rank for Obc category was 27024. So it is hard for you to get admission there.
