IT totally depends on the remaining seats available after round 1. I would suggest you to follow the counselling tentatively,because there are slight chances this year ,that few seats might be left vacant.

Now coming to your question, i will suggest you to apply for BTech counselling in SASTRA official website. After that you will definitely ,get a seat in college considering your achievement.

So, firstly regardless of the branches, SASTRA University is the best choice among the two Colleges which you've mentioned above. So, for Electrical and Electronics Engineering, SASTRA University would be the better option

Sastra university does not give admission on JEE mains it only consider the board percentile which should be 95+ or minimum 90+.
Note: merit list of both the categories are prepared differently.
