Sharon Rose Student Expert 4th Aug, 2021

Hello,

The eligibility criteria to be eligible to get admission to BA (Hons) Sociology in DU is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 45% marks. Admission is based on marks scored in one language and three best academic/elective subjects as specified in List A and List B. A deduction of 2.5% per subject is applicable on aggregate in four subjects if any subject other than those from List A and List B in the combination of best three  is included. Out of three academic/elective subjects chosen above, one must be the concerned subject in which the admission is sought, failing which a deduction of 2.5% will be imposed on the aggregate. If you fulfill the eligibility criteria you are eligible to apply for admission. You need to mention the marks scored in best four subjects to know the colleges in which you have chances of getting seat.

Can I get any college of north campus for political sciences or sociology honours with 89 percentage

Aditi Yadav 12th Jun, 2021
It depends on the college. There are some college where you can get admission with 89% in consecutive list as cut offs are decreased with every list

Also if you belong from a reserved category, you might manage to get one of the top colleges.

Try to go through last year cutoff list to get an idea.

You will definitely get a college at DU but there are very little chances of North Campus.

All the best!

Im pursuing B.Sc.(Hons.) 1st year from AIIMS Patna with Nursing Foundation, Sociology, Physiology, Nutrition, Biochemistry and anatomy as subjects. what should be my qualifying examination code for NEET-2021?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Jul, 2021

Hi

You need to choose the code 02.

This is because,

Though you are doing BSc hons with subjects mentioned by you your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology remains 10 + 2  .

While those who are doing bsc and have all the 3 i. e physics, chemistry and biology in bsc needs to choose code 5 and those who have completed bsc with at least any two out of physics,  chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.
