You can surely get admission in St Xaviers college in Bsc Microbiology.However there are no admission test for BSc course and admission are taken based on marks scored in class 12 in subjects as mentioned by the college.For admission in Fergusson college There comes the same process.Merit screening of candidates take place based on the marks scored in class 12.

• 60 % weightage to Entrance Test & 40 % weightage to Class XII aggregate marks.
• A candidate can apply in only one category.

Admissions to B.Sc. (I.T.) will be based on the marks scored in Mathematics at the Class XII Board Exam.  Hence, there is no Entrance Test for B.Sc. (I.T.) admissions.

All the applications are available online so there is no need you to college in case you are from different city. You just have to come for interview which happens within one or two days after the cut offs are out.

Your marks in Accountancy is not considered but your whole percentage is considered for admission so if your total percentage passes their cutoff then you can get admission (Calculate your percentage according to the rules of your board)and in St. Xaviers Kolkata releases cutoff for three boards CBSE board, ISC board and west Bengal board.The cutoff for bsc. Economics from all these boards range from 92 to 96 percent. CBSE board has higher cutoff than ISC board and west Bengal board has lower cutoff than both the other boards.
