Hello,
See when it comes to admission through entrance test in any university, then your 12th marks are only considered to determine the eligibility criteria as in terms of whether you fulfill it or not, other than this prepare well for the entrance test, and give your best, be thorough with the syllabus, keep resources limited, revision is the key for retaining the information you're reading, CUET scores are going to be accepted for the following universities;
When it comes to UPSC there is no such restrictions in terms of belonging to specific stream, you just need to pass graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, there is no specific aggregate required this, yes coming from humanities background you may have advantage of being well -acquainted with the subjects included in UPSC syllabus, and there is considerable overlap with optional subjects as well as in case of law, economics, history, sociology, public administration, political science, geography etc, however if you go by previous year trends then toppers come from various background that of engineering, medical , commerce etc, hence your graduation subject isn't the only determinant factor for the success of UPSC.
