priyaankasarkar Student Expert 17th Oct, 2020

With this score, based on previous years data, you might have chance in Colleges like:

  • ESIC Medical College, K.K. Nagar
  • Government Medical College and Hospital, Pudukottai
  • Karoor Government Medical College

Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. sir/madam my mark in neet is 139.I belong to sc category I am residential of Tamil nadu can I get management quota mbbs seat in my state.

Anurag Khanna 23rd Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

On such marks you have no chance to get any of the good college under state quota and you are just qualified on such marks but yes you can try for direct admission provided that you must have appeared in NEET Counselling and unable to secure any seat through it. Or I would recommend you to take a drop and prepare for NEET 2021 and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/?product=50&icn=knockout-neet-2021-may&ici=

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

i scroced 514 mark in neet ug 2020 ,will i get goverment college in tamil nadu

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Oct, 2020

Hi

when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 514 marks   you hold a low chance to get a seat in a Government Medical College

For example,
In Neet 2019, the lowest marks that got a seat in Government Medical College for general category under Tamil Nadu state quota was 520 marks and it was for Government K.A.P.V. Medical College, Trichy

But yes
With your marks you very good have chances for govt quota seats   in private medical college under state quota like:

*KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research, Coimbatore

*Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Perambalur

And a few more

To get the list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

Thankyou

Subhiksha 29th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

Its quite harder to predict the college for your score. Sorry to say but 268 is somewhat a lower score. As the cutoff for the medical colleges vary every year based on some factors, we couldn't predict that.

But you have some possibilities of getting seats in private colleges, especially in state quota.

So just go through our NEET college predictor link to check the chances of admission possibilities:

Questions of NTSE (Tamil Nadu) SST are asked from NCERT SST or sate board SST books? I am CBSE student.. If state board SSt questions are asked how should I study state board SST ?

Mrunal Barapatre 17th Oct, 2020

Hey Udhaya,

NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) is conducted by the State Government and NCERT for class 10th students. You should be the student of Class 10 to be eligible to participate in NTSE.

For NTSE, all the syllabus (Science, Maths, Social Sciences) is from the NCERT Curriculum of 9th and 10th Standards.

So you have to read only NCERT books for preparation of NTSE. You should also have basic knowledge from previous standards so as to make your base clear.

Hope that this is the required information you needed.

Good luck with your preparations!!!

ayanmukherjee045 14th Oct, 2020

Dear aspirant,

I would personally recommend you to follow jee mains syllabus. And for organic chemistry , inorganic and physical chemistry you should follow ncert chemistry blindly.

Coming to your practice question, just practice previous year papers and solve mock tests of which ever coaching you go. If you have taken allen test series then follow that sincerely.

I have got 28784 rank in Jee mains. Home state Tamil Nadu. which colleges to prefer for CSE and IT?

Poulomi choudhuri 13th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

It's difficult to predict about the exact college and admission possibilities. It depends on the cut-off. Cutoff changes every year. It depends upon a lot of factors such as the exam pattern, the number of students appeared, the number of students qualified, whether you belong to any category or not. Cutoff changes from state to state.

So, with 28784 rank you can get several colleges in tamilnadu for CSE branch, such as

1.SRM Institute of Science and technology

2. Vellore Institute of technology, Vellore

3. Indian Institute of Technology

To get an exact idea about which college you might get you can check the link mentioned below
