Rashmita Paul 29th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

As your NEET score is 400. As such  your Overall Percentile is: 89.81 - 90.31  and when it comes to rank, your Predicted Rank is : 140244 - 172394. Also it too depends upon last years cut-off. Adding it with 15% All India quota  and 85% state quota seats in government colleges. For your category the cut-off was above 440 marks.

Hi, I am from Tamil Nadu and I have scored 400 in my neet ug 2020 in bc . Is there any possibility to get a seat in government-aided colleges

Kanith Sawkar 29th Sep, 2020

Hey aspirant,

Based on your marks, it seems difficult to get an MBBS seat under government quota either in government or private college. However, you may get a seat under management quota at private institutes like Trichy (SRM) Medical College which had a cutoff of 393 marks for NEET 2019. Sree Moogambigai Institute of Medical Sciences, Kanyakumari had a cutoff of 393 and Tagore Medical College, Chennai had a cutoff of 391 marks, these are some of the colleges where you may get a management seat.

You can find more about previous year's cutoff here: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-tamil-nadu

being a keralite will i get a govt mbbs seat in tamil nadu wid 482 score and obc ncl category

Apoorva Student Expert 29th Sep, 2020

Hello dear student,

As you said you belong from Kerala but you want to take admission in tamilnadu and you have 482 marks. It can be little difficult for you to get admission in tamilnadu because you will get admission under 15% all India quota as the state of your domicile is from different state.

I have checked the cut off list of previous year not even a single government medical college give admission under 15% all India quota in the range of the marks you have scored.

Thank you

i expected this time i will score 320 mark in neet under sc category from tamil nadu. is there any chance i will get into the gov dental college?

Heena GJ 28th Sep, 2020

Hi

With this score, your rank would be between 213657-228146. As cut off varies every year it is difficult to predict about the seat. The expected cut off for 2020 in SC category is 598-118. So you may or may no get seat. As cut off depends upon the no of students appeared, qualified, difficulty level of exam, last year's cut off .

The last year's cut off for it was 133-107 .
