I SHOULD GO FOR ECE IN BIT OR SJCE, OR SHOULD I GO FOR ISE IN NIE.

Nikhitha Sai 2nd Oct, 2020

Hello student. Both the colleges are really good in terms of quality of education, course curriculum, infrastructure and placements.

In BIT college placemensts are avaerage for ece branch. But when it comes placements, ISE in NIE is better than ECE in BIT or SJCE. SO i suggest you to go for ISE in NIE.

Here are the other factors to consider this college:

Infrastructure and college life:

NIE has a wonderful infrastructure with well equipped labs and classrooms. Hostels are pretty decent and nice environment is always maintained. You can see that the campus life is going to be really well. College life is good with the right kind of atmosphere given to the students who come from different places.

F aculty and quality of education:

All the faculties are well qualified and experienced over here. And education, curriculum is made in such a way that students are made to acquire more hands on knowledge than just the theory. It is not just the books and classes. Focuses more on practical knowledge than the theoretical one. Education quality and the way guidance is given is really good.

Placements:

Placements are really good as many good companies visit this college. Most of the students gets placed and opportunities of internship is provided to the students from wide range of companies.

According to our website,It is a very good rated one.

SHOULD I GO FOR ISE AT NIE MYSORE OR CSE AT SIT TUMKUR.

Mohammed Faiz 21st Sep, 2020

Hello Himanshu Singh,

NIE Mysore will be a better choice considering all the aspects. NIE Mysore's placements for CS,IS,ECE are good and all the companies will allow these 3 branches so there will not be any restriction for NIE students during placements and they are part with CSE students. There will be change of only 2–3 subjects with respect to CSE. SIT Tumkur is not a great choice over NIE Mysore.

Hope this helps

Thank you

IS NIE MYSORE A GOOD COLLEGE FOR INFORMATION SCIENCE.

Siddhi Shenoy 19th Sep, 2020

Hello Himanshu Singh,

According to the reviews of NIE Mysore, the Information Science branch seems to be placed lower than other branches. It is theoretical till 5th semester and you get practical knowledge after the 5th semester. Also, the lectures are pretty good but you need to have full attention. The campus placement of this college is considered to be ranked as 2nd position according to last year's data. The labs seems to be excellent.

Finally, it is up to you who wants to do the course you want and the place you wish to. It is a good college.

Good luck!
