Coming to your question it is not clear to me that the above mentioned rank is of comedy or of the kcet.

But taking the condition of the general student who had given the comedk it seems that it is impossible for him to get into these two colleges , based on previous year stats he can get jce but the only branch is construction technology and management.

Considering your marks and previous year's statistics, you cannot get any seat in JSS mahavidyapeetha Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore and the national institute of technology, mysore. However, don't lose hope, the couseling process can be really unpredictable at times. Still, kepp searching for alternative options.

Looking at the previous stats of placements of NIE 75-80% of recruiters are software companies. They intake ECE students as well, but at the end of the day they prefer CS students.

I suggest you to go with CS if you are looking for placements and getting recruited at the end of your fourth year, if only!.

RIT, BMS, NIE all three are private colleges with low fees of Rs. 78,380/-, Rs. 49,500/-, 19,090/- per year, respectively. All three colleges offer Civil Engineering. The admissions are based on KCET and COMEDK exams. The placement scenario of RIT is pretty good with many core companies like L&T and some Dubai based MNC visiting the campus. The placement in BMS is also good with companies like Caterpillar, Shapoorji Pallonji & co visiting the campus. According to me, Civil Engineering is a very nice choice of the branch in the current scenario for B. Tech and between these 3 colleges, RIT might be the best option.

Both NIE college and SIT college are good but I would prefer you to choose NIE college, Mysore. The placements here are good not only for the software branches but also for the core branches. Companies such as mercedes,Amazon,Google, Mindtree, Accenture and many MNC's visit the campus with good packages. The college has a record of 100% placement every year.

BMS college Banglore and NIE,Mysore both are top colleges but I would prefer you to choose BMS college , Banglore instead. The highly reputed colleeg is even autonomous which is like a cherry on the top. The faculty and infrastructure are said to be very advance and helpful.
